Fall is finally here! Things are really going well for my family. Jillian is a full time student at Bethel College and while she is finishing her education I am enjoying getting some extra daddy time with my girls. We are expecting number 3 in March so please pray for healthy baby and mommy. We are excited about this season that God has us in and know the future is brighter than ever.

I'll live my life to the fullest. I'll be happy. I'll brighten up. I will be more joyful than I have ever been. I will be kind to others. I will loosen up. I will tell others about Christ. I will go on adventures and change the world. I will be bold and not change who I really am. I will have no troubles but instead help others with their troubles.
You see, I'll be one of those people who live to be history makers at a young age. Oh, I'll have moments, good and bad, but I will wipe away the bad and only remember the good. In fact that's all I remember, just good moments, nothing in between, just living my life to the fullest. I'll be one of those people who go somewhere with a mission, an awesome plan, a world-changing plan, and nothing will hold me back. I'll set an example for others, I will pray for direction.
I have my life before me. I will give others the joy I have and God will give me more joy. I will do everything God tells me to do. I will follow the footsteps of God. I will do my best!!!

Refuse to let fear stop you!

Ask yourself, “What would I attempt, if I weren’t afraid of failing?” Jesus told of a man who entrusted his business to three key workers. He gave the first worker five talents, the second two, and the third one. In Bible times one talent was about fifteen years’ salary, so you begin to grasp what an opportunity this was. It was a defining moment, which gave each of them the chance to test their skills, develop initiative, practice good judgment, and profit from their investment. The first two men did exactly that, doubling theirs. But the third was afraid of failing, so he buried his talent. Jesus described this man as “wicked” and said his talents would be taken from him and given to the man who used his profitably. He wasn’t judged for what he did, he was judged for doing nothing.

Fear of people, fear of failure, and fear of rejection can tempt you to bury your gift. Don’t do it! Unless you’ve the courage to start – you’re already finished. When God called people like Moses, Gideon, Deborah and Esther they all had to overcome their natural fears; so will you. When they were in the wilderness, fear of lack made the Israelites want to go back to Egyptian slavery. Fear of persecution caused the disciples to forsake Jesus in His darkest hour, and caused Peter to deny Him – three times. Refuse to let fear stop you! How you use your talents is a matter of the utmost importance. The truth is, it’s the basis upon which God will finally judge and reward you.

I read this today and thought it was really good! Imagine what God could do in and through you if you had the courage to step out. Go for it....

Today is July 15th
We are living in Hampton Va and attend Warwick Assembly of God in which I serve as the Student Ministries & PR/Outreach Pastor. The Lead Pastor is awesome and the Staff Team is great to work with. I have finished my degree at Bethel College and now it is Jillian's turn to finish her degree. She's amazing at Leading Worship so pray that the call of God and her dreams come true. Our beautiful girls (Nevaeh & Lailah) are now 3 1/2 and 2 years of age. They are so much fun! Our God is doing some incredible things and we really sense that He is preparing us for something great. We are ready for it!

2009 is Here!

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to update you on what is new with us. This year has been a great year Neveah is now 2 years old and learning all kinds of words. Wow, what a cute personality! Leilah is 5 months old and has beautiful blue eyes. She has a cute smile! David has finished school finally and Jillian is doing great! We have been at Warwick AG serving as Student Ministries Pastor for 13 months and love serving there. Keep us in prayer as we continue to pursue God's heart and will for our lives.

We are currently in Hampton Va. I am working at Warwick AG as the Student Ministries Pastor and Finishing my Education at Bethel College, which I will be done at the end of the Summer. Little Nevaeh is now One and moving around like a normal Freeland. Jillian is also pregnant with our second and is due sometime in July. I am very excited what God has been doing in our life as a family and speaking to us.
